Exciting New Partnership with the Faculty of Economics and Sociology, University of Lodz! A new cooperation agreement has been established between our Shared Service Center (SSC) Beko Europe in Lodz and the Faculty of Economics and Sociology at the University of Lodz. Through this partnership, students will gain access to apprenticeships, internships, and various initiatives designed to enhance their practical skills and better prepare them for their future careers. After a year in the making, the Whirlpool brand, in collaboration with Natuzzi, proudly presented The Wash Less Project, featuring a chair designed by the renowned architect Fabio Novembre. This innovative piece of furniture is more than just a chair; it’s a statement of sustainability and style, combining luxury, functionality, and environmental commitment. During the press event Ipsos Italia shared key insights from research on the “Laundry Chair” phenomenon, highlighting the need for organization and reducing laundry frequency. Did you know that 58%* of Italians have a spot for worn-but-not-dirty clothes? The Wash Less Project addresses this with style and practicality. The chair is now available on the Whirlpool e-commerce site and in all Italian Natuzzi Italia stores. Grundig Women's Regatta has been a great platform for competition since it's launch two years ago and this year it's become even greener! ?? Don't forget to check out the highlights from this magnificent event! ?
Two years ago, we teamed up with KNS - Royal Norwegian Yacht Club to kick off the epic Grundig Women's Regatta, making waves as Norway's first-ever all-women J/70 regatta, and this year we have done it again!???? This weekend we celebrated women in sailing, with 23 all women’s team sailing in Oslo! And just like previous years, the top Norwegian team qualified for the J/70 Women’s Sailing Champions League.??? This year, we decided to take it even further, making the event a fossil-free regatta?? All gasoline engine boats were replaced with fully electric boats, including the support boats ?? We also used drones with video transmission to judge the races, replacing ribs on gasoline. In addition, we had several changes on land as well, such as no grilling with charcoal or gas, no single-use plastic, all waste was sorted, and surplus food was donated to charity.
