There’s no doubt that curation is a current hot topic and while it’s great to see it debated so widely it can be frustrating to read opinions that question its value. It’s hugely helpful therefore to see the core arguments laid out so clearly, and we very much echo the sentiments shared in the piece below by Fern Potter and Rob Webster. Implemented and used well, by controlling the quality and relevance of inventory, curation offers the opportunity to rebalance the ad tech ecosystem in the face of the multiple challenges it faces; these include convoluted supply paths, signal loss, the adtech tax – not to mention programmatic’s significant impact on the environment thanks to the over-generation of bid requests. https://lnkd.in/ezgEBTud
