关于我们
Bed Bug Heat Doctor/PrevSol is the leading provider of bed bug heaters in North America. All of our top-rated heaters are designed for the unique needs of hotels, apartment complexes, pest control companies, camps, shelters and other commercial applications. They are all made in the United States in order to provide the highest level of effectiveness at the best possible price. Contact us today to discover how our bed bug heater can solve all of your pest control needs. We have decades of experience as a business that is committed to using the safest, most effective solution available. We understand that hospitality and property owners have to protect both their reputation and their revenues. We’re offering effective, in-house tools that solve your problem today and get rooms back up and ready to produce revenues in a day or two. Insects are vulnerable to temperature changes: bedbugs have exoskeletons that break down when exposed to higher temperatures. Our simple solution uses nothing but heat to completely rid your property of these pests and their eggs. With PrevSol, you can eliminate costly, time consuming service calls and the use of harmful chemicals. It’s a great permanent in-house solution to a serious problem. New strains of insecticide-resistant bugs, including a new invasive tropical strain, mean that traditional chemical treatments are no guarantee your pest problem is gone. And chemical answers take rooms off the books for days and weeks. Heat means no more harmful insecticide, fumes, and long waits for service calls. And remember, outside service vendors are an ongoing expense. Heat treatment means a one-time purchase that can save thousands of dollars over the life of the equipment. Female bed bugs lay up to 20 eggs from a single blood meal. One female can produce over 100 eggs in her lifetime. The eggs are typically an equal ration of male to female. If the temperature is around 70°F, approximately 90% of the eggs will have hatched within 9 days. This means a bed bug population can double every 16 days. Follow along with our #bedbugeducation series to learn more about bed bug habits and biology.

Most people think of bed bugs feeding at night while we are sleeping, and that is mostly true. However, bed bugs will also adapt to your sleep schedule and feed during the day if that is when you sleep. Feeding takes 3-12 minutes and happens every 3-7 days. Follow along with our #bedbugeducation series to learn more about bed bug habits and biology.

Although bed bugs feed on blood, they are not known to spread disease through their bite. However, in recent years, studies are beginning to find that large amounts of histamine are present in bed bug fecal matter and therefore present in the dust in homes with infestations. Follow along with our #bedbugeducation series to learn more about bed bugs and their behavior.
