This strategic partnership aligns two organizations committed to empowering young women as leaders and fostering a network of changemakers who will drive social impact worldwide. Through this collaboration, ICGS members gain exclusive access to the Be Bold Girls’ program -- designed to build confidence, innovation, and leadership skills. In turn, Be Bold Girls strengthens its mission with ICGS’s vast network, reaching over 350,000 students in girls' schools across 26 countries, empowering more girls than ever to make a difference. Meet Ariel, a junior at Bellevue High and a dedicated member of Be Bold Girls since 8th grade. Ariel recently shared her journey with our program, and her story speaks volumes about the transformative impact of Be Bold Girls - a leadership program at Be Bold For Change. “I’ve been able to develop my confidence and presentation skills through opportunities just like this. I’ve connected with so many talented adults and learned from experienced mentors, which has been incredibly rewarding. This program has given me the chance to work with like-minded peers, face societal challenges, and truly drive change.” Ariel joined Be Bold Girls to confront self-confidence challenges, tackle societal standards, and create a supportive community with peers who share similar experiences. Through our program, she’s not only developed crucial leadership and communication skills but also had the chance to collaborate on meaningful projects, including her Changemaker Challenge campaign to boost confidence among young girls. Ariel’s journey is just one example of the empowering environment Be Bold Girls creates. We’re honored to be part of her growth and are inspired by her commitment to making a positive impact. This Friday, October 11, is the ?International Day of the Girl?, a UN-recognized day dedicated to addressing the challenges girls face and promoting their empowerment and human rights. At Be Bold For Change, we are celebrating the International Day of the Girl by launching our very first fundraising campaign to expand our Be Bold Girls program. ??? This initiative will allow us to reach even more girls, providing them with the leadership skills, confidence, and support they need to thrive as future changemakers. Your support will help us extend Be Bold Girls to underserved communities, giving more girls the opportunity to participate in this transformative program. Imagine your students confidently leading change, speaking up for what matters, and collaborating globally to create solutions. As educators, you have the power to unlock that potential, and this International Day of the Girl, we’re excited to offer you a unique opportunity to do just that by becoming advocates and leaders for change through the Be Bold Changemakers pilot program! In partnership with Be Bold for Change, Fair Chance Learning, and Microsoft Teams, this dynamic initiative aims to equip girls ages 12-15 with the skills and confidence to shape a future they envision. Put your students’ voices, talents, and ideas at the center of global change. THE DETAILS: Launching this month and culminating in the Changemaker Challenge in April 2025, each participating school will form teams of ten or more students, guided by a Faculty Sponsor, to lead them through this transformative experience. Participants will: ?? Shape a global initiative, building leadership skills in the process. ???????? Collaborate with peers internationally, solving real-world challenges. ?? Join an international community focused on driving meaningful change. ?? Engage with women leaders who are leading by example.
