What a lovely way to start our week??? Beauty Bus brought a Pop-Up Salon to the community at the?Cancer Support Community Greater San Gabriel Valley?this past Monday, generously supported by?Concern Foundation. Our Beauty Professionals delivered haircuts/styling, hand massages, mini-facials, and makeup services, all contributing to an INCREDIBLE 94 services for cancer patients, survivors, thrivers, and their caregivers. The energy was warm and electric, and it would be impossible to try and count how many inspiring stories + smiles were shared. A huge shoutout to our hosts at?Cancer Support Community Greater San Gabriel Valley?for providing such an inviting space for those we serve and our team ?? thank you! At Beauty Bus, we know that community is everything ?? thanks to the generosity of Seed Beauty/ColourPop, Thrive Causemetics Inc., and other incredible supporters of our mission, we created Bags of Beauty for those affected by the wildfires - because the gift and lift of beauty can be powerful, no matter the life circumstance. Those affected were able to stop by our offices to pick up their bags along with other essentials coordinated by some of our amazing Beauty Professional volunteers ??♀????? A HUGE thank you to students and parents from Brentwood School who joined us to get these bags ready for families ???? Seeing communities come together and lift each other up during challenging life moments is what Beauty Bus is all about - thank you for showing up with us!

The devastating start to 2025 has been a heartbreaking reminder that it takes a village to rebuild, heal, and rise again in the face of adversity. When wildfires tore through our city, leaving destruction in their wake, we knew we couldn’t just stand by. We had to do something. This past Monday, 213Deli came together with some of our closest industry friends and partners to host a gifting suite for those impacted by the fires. More than just a moment of relief, it was a reminder that no one is alone—that support, love, and generosity are alive and well in LA. There is always a way to give back. Never underestimate the impact of even the smallest gesture. That’s why 213Deli will donate a portion of the proceeds all year to LA Wildfire Recovery. Because rebuilding doesn’t happen in a day—it happens when we continuously show up for one another. For caregivers and patients alike, Beauty Bus provides not just a moment of pampering but a sense of relief, hope, and dignity during difficult times. ? What an incredible evening at Concern Foundation’s Annual Holiday Party for pediatric cancer patients and their families, hosted at Paramount Pictures Studios! ??? Our Pop-Up Salon was buzzing with excitement, offering glitter tattoos, face sparkle, hair tinsel, nail stickers, and a Spin the Snowman station with fun mystery prizes ???. We were also able to surprise attendees with MEN’s Collection bags, generously donated by Giovanni Cosmetics, Inc. ??♂?. The evening was full of heartwarming moments, including a fashion show featuring comfy hospital wear designed by Jamila Sozahdah, a special appearance by Lil Jon, and endless candy donated by generous supporters ??. It was a true celebration of community and connection. A HUGE thank you to Concern Foundation, one of our valued partners, for helping fund our work with the cancer community throughout the year.
