Happy Thanksgiving from Beautiful Spirited Women! This Thanksgiving, we are beyond grateful for our board, staff supporters, volunteers, mentors , mentees, and the amazing communities we serve. Your dedication and generosity inspire us to keep empowering young girls and creating lasting change. Our office will be closed from Wednesday , November 27 through Sunday, December 1 as we take time to reflect, give thanks, and enjoy this special season with our loved ones. ??????????Today, we celebrate 14 years of unwavering dedication and HEART WORK through the Beautiful Spirited Women Girls Mentoring Program! Led by our devoted founder, Crystal Clark-Chatman, this program has become a beacon of hope, resilience, and transformation for girls from low-poverty areas, empowering them to rise above challenges and build promising futures. Crystal, a visionary leader, has poured her heart into every aspect of this mission. Together with her supportive husband, her brother, and a steadfast team of founding members, parents, mentors, mentees, and donors, she has made Beautiful Spirited Women a powerful force for positive change in countless lives. Over the years, Crystal has set an example of what it means to be a servant leader, giving selflessly, guiding with love, and empowering those around her. Her dedication is mirrored in the lives of every mentee who has thrived under her guidance, every parent who has trusted in her vision, and every mentor who has stood beside her in this journey. Our faithful donors, who believe in the impact of this work, have helped sustain our mission with their generous support. To commemorate Beautiful Spirited Women Day, declared on November 10 by the Past Mayor of Memphis, TN Jim Strickland, we challenge every donor, friend, and supporter to contribute at least $140 or more to honor this 14-year milestone. ?????? JUST in time for the COLLEGE BOX Giveaway! This past weekend, our Founder and Executive Director, Chaplin/Chair Leader @carmeldelightisalright, along with sponsor @directorjmoore, made a meaningful visit to their Alma Mater, @thelanecollege. ???? As a proud former captain of the “Sensational Ladies of Fire” for four years, our Founder took the opportunity to speak with the college young ladies, offering encouragement and sharing her journey. She reassured them that they are seen, supported, and will be blessed with self-care boxes to help ease their college experience. For our Founder, giving back is a way of life. She knows firsthand the challenges college students face, especially those who may not receive scholarships or assistance. Sending essential items wasn’t just an idea—it was a calling. In her life, she’s found that when you make it about others, GOD will make it about you. It’s this spirit of generosity that has helped her weather life’s toughest storms, and now, she’s paying it forward. She was also able to wrap her arms around her mentees Tenia who apart of the Band! ????
