In light of Mental Illness Awareness Week, our CEO, Dustin Ames, was asked the following question: "How does Beaumont Behavioral Health incorporate patient feedback to improve mental health care, and what steps are taken to ensure that patients feel empowered and supported throughout their treatment journey?" Dustin shared, "At Beaumont Behavioral Health, patient feedback is a critical component of improving mental healthcare. We actively gather input through surveys, focus groups, and direct patient communication, ensuring that their voices shape our care delivery. This feedback informs adjustments in treatment plans, enhances the patient experience, and drives continuous improvement in clinical services." In closing, Dustin emphasized, "To empower and support patients, we prioritize collaborative care planning and consistent communication. Patients are encouraged to actively participate in decision-making with treatment teams, and we provide resources to help them feel informed, respected, and engaged throughout their treatment journey. We take great pride in ensuring our patients feel supported throughout their treatment journey." If you or someone you know is struggling, don't hesitate to give us a call. Our team is here to help! Our CNO, Ilene Gordon, kicked off flu shot season by getting her flu shot! Vaccinations were available at the Skills Fair we hosted last week. After receiving their shots, staff members received a raffle ticket for a chance to win exciting prize baskets. It was a great way to promote health and wellness while having some fun!

We were proud sponsors of this year's MCACHE - Midwest Chapter of ACHE Emerging Leaders’ Summit, a half-day conference designed to educate, inspire, and connect emerging leaders from Michigan, Ohio, and Canada. Our CEO, Dustin Ames, was able to present, and our Account Manager, Paul, set up a vendor table for visitors to gather more information on our hospital and health system. The event focused on recognizing and valuing one's worth and provided an excellent opportunity to network and share valuable resources. We are excited to bring these insights back to our hospital! #BehavioralHealthConnectionsMichigan #Leadership #EmergingLeaders
