Founded in 1965 by Leon Beaty, Beaty Construction has grown from a small family business to a substantial, multi-faceted, self-perform contractor serving Indiana and its surrounding states. We started with a focus on state heavy highway and bridge projects. Over 50 years later, we are still dedicated to being one of the top bridge contractors in the state of Indiana, but we also work in the private sector. Our extensive and diverse portfolio includes deep foundations, earth retention systems, underpinning, low headroom construction, large excavations, pedestrian trails, environmental remediation, civil works, and demolition. With our in-house engineering staff, we can assist our clients every step of the way from design to installation. Huge congratulations to the Hamilton Heights High School team in the 2024 Golden Shovel Competition! Representing Team Beaty, students Ethan Halverson, Kendall Flanders, and Isabel Marrow showcased their incredible skills, securing 1st place in the Job Hazard Analysis award and earning the title of Work IN Roads Safety Champion ??. They also achieved an impressive 3rd place overall! Shoutout to Coach Chad Flanders for his guidance and to Dave Huff and Jacob Williams for their expertise in safety. Special thanks to Kevin Sheets, Hamilton Heights' Civil Construction Pathway teacher, for preparing our students, and Ryan Swingley from ESP Associates, Inc. for his support with the surveying portion. ?? We’re thrilled to announce that the South Street expansion of the Indianapolis Cultural Trail: A Legacy of Gene and Marilyn Glick is officially open! This expansion connects the Wholesale and Fountain Square cultural districts and enhances access to near Southside neighborhoods and the Stadium Village community to downtown Indianapolis. The new expansion also creates a beautiful connection to key downtown landmarks including Indiana Convention Center & Lucas Oil Stadium, the Slippery Noodle Inn, and the future White River expansion of the Indianapolis Cultural Trail. In addition to improving connectivity, the South Street expansion has added more than 12,000 square feet of public gardens with new trees, shrubs, grasses, perennial plants and stormwater planters. The expansion also adds lighting, benches, bike racks and cultural interpretive panels to the corridor. ??
