    The average person will work 12 jobs over their lifetime – inviting the riskiest thing you can do as you save for retirement: change jobs. Every switch increases the likelihood of losing savings, as the complex 401(k) transfer process forces many to either cash out or abandon their accounts when they move from one job to the next.
