Two weeks ago, we had the honor of hosting the Hult Prize Foundation Global Finals — an incredible culmination of a year’s worth of passion, innovation, and hard work. It all came down to this: the top 6 teams, out of 10,000 registered startups, pitching for the $1 Million prize in London. The diversity and brilliance of these teams were mind-blowing. We saw: ? Korion Health: A complete home health monitoring kit, bringing healthcare directly to patients, no matter the cost, disability, or distance. ? Xatoms: Purifying water with AI and quantum chemistry to revolutionize clean water solutions. ? Bean Around: Turning coffee waste into new opportunities through a circular economy model. ? HerLens: Empowering health workers with AI-powered tools for cervical health assessments. ? ProtonCraft Innovations: Pioneering hydrogen as a clean fuel to decarbonize industries. ? Lothgha App | ????? ???? : Providing remote speech therapy services through an innovative mobile app. Among these amazing teams, only one could emerge victorious... A huge congratulations to Korion Health for winning the $1 Million prize?? This was especially meaningful for me as I watched Korion Health grow from the start of the competition. A huge?day for Bean Around as they present at the Hult Prize Global Finals in the Mermaid Theatre in London today, having been selected as one of the finalist teams. The Hult Prize Foundation is the largest student-led social enterprise competition in the world and Bean Around is the first Irish team to reach this stage of the competition. The winner, who will be announced today, will receive a $1 million USD investment into their company.? Bean Around creates sustainable exfoliating soaps and body scrubs made from 100% repurposed coffee grinds, all hand-crafted in Dun Laoghaire, Dublin. The Hult Prize is the largest student-led social entrepreneurship competition in the world with the goal of encouraging students to create world-changing, sustainable businesses that are in line with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
