Salam Alaikum BEAM Venture Community, Alhamdulillah, for the second year in a row, our students have made history—bringing home the State Championship title! ?? MashaAllah, congratulations to all who qualified for the final round and to those who secured top rankings, earning their place in the National Competition in Orlando! Beyond trophies and rankings, our greatest success lies in the growth, resilience, and teamwork our students have demonstrated. The lessons they’ve learned, the bonds they’ve strengthened, and the experiences they’ve shared define this journey far more than any award. ?? Official Results & Achievements: - 113 competitive entries at the state level—an incredible feat for our newly formed chapters! - 48 entries advanced to the final round. -37 finalists placed in the top 10 in their respective events. - 8 additional students ranked in the top 10 in open events, bringing the total to 45 students among 4,453 statewide entries. - Every BEAM chapter had students qualify for nationals, with two chapters crowned state champions! - A historic milestone: One of our young leaders was elected as the first-ever state president from our community in the organization’s history (founded in 1966), leading a state association of 14,000 members! While Ashraf ultimately had to decline due to conflicts with his major leadership commitments, his candidacy remains an inspiring achievement for our youth. Beyond the competition, faith and community remained at the heart of this journey—setting Ramadan goals, hosting Friday prayer, and supporting one another every step of the way. A Collective Achievement This victory is a testament to the incredible potential of our youth and the power of a united community. A heartfelt thank you to the coaches, mentors, masajid, parents, and business leaders who have dedicated their time, energy, and support. Your unwavering commitment has made this success possible and continues to empower our youth to excel. The day was a beautiful reflection of faith, culture, and togetherness, where students, parents, and teachers came together to connect, inspire, and celebrate our shared traditions. ?? A heartfelt Jazakum Allahu Khairan to our incredible students, dedicated teachers, and supportive families for making this day so special. Your energy and enthusiasm brought this event to life! Alhamdulillah for this incredible opportunity! Our BEAM kids had the honor of leading the Pledge of Allegiance at the Plano and Frisco City Council’s January meetings, representing themselves, BEAM, and the Muslim-American community with pride and confidence. It’s a moment they’ll never forget, one that strengthens their sense of belonging and reminds them that they are an important part of our society. We hope this experience encourages them to engage in all the institutions that shape our country, no matter how big or small the action. Together, we are a vital part of the American fabric. Alhamdulillah! What an exciting and inspiring Shark Tank: Startup Medical Innovation Edition workshop with our young innovators! Our BEAM Venture young entrepreneurs had an incredible time mentoring BEAM Academy students—teaching them how to pitch creative ideas, showcase their entrepreneurial spirit, and tackle real-world challenges with confidence and passion. This Shark Tank preparation workshop, held in collaboration with BEAM Academy PTO and Scottish Rite, provided a fantastic opportunity for these bright minds to develop their skills and bring their medical innovation ideas to life. A huge thank you to Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital and the amazing BEAM Academy PTO team for their support in making this workshop a success! We can’t wait to see these young entrepreneurs pitch their medical startup ideas on BEAM Shark Tank Day on February 17! ????

Highlights from Our Dubai Chocolate Bar Making Class! This winter break, our BEAM students had an unforgettable experience at BigDash IceCream & Pastries Frisco, where they created their very own Dubai chocolate bars. The session was led by BigDash founder Sr. Asma, who guided the students through a fun, hands-on class, sharing her expertise in making this delicious sweet treat. This event provided a wonderful opportunity for students to learn, connect with friends, and enjoy a creative and engaging activity during their winter break. Each student took home their very own chocolate creation, making it a truly memorable experience! Behind the scenes at NBC5 and Telemundo 39 KXTX ! Yesterday our BEAM students had an unforgettable experience meeting reporters and meteorologists, including the first Muslim woman to wear a hijab while reporting on American TV news. This year, we’ve been diving into the meaning of good citizenship and the importance of civic engagement. Media professionals play a crucial role in shaping public awareness and fostering informed communities, so we pulled back the curtain right here at our hometown studios! Assalamu Alaikum Dear BEAM Family, As I look back on an incredible year, I am filled with gratitude for the growth, connections, and milestones we’ve achieved together as a BEAM family. Opening our new location in Frisco was a major milestone, allowing us to expand our reach and better serve the community. Introducing our new Quranic Arabic curriculum has been an important step in helping our students connect more deeply with the Quran. We’ve continued to build a vibrant community through leadership workshops, BEAM Family Campouts, and our collective efforts with our dedicated BEAM PTO, which were recognized by State Representative Salman Bhojani for their positive impact. The expansion of our sports programs and online classes further reflects our commitment to offering diverse opportunities for growth. One of the most transformative achievements was the birth and evolution of BEAM Venture into a standalone non-profit organization, embodying the leadership and entrepreneurial spirit we aim to inspire in our students. These milestones are a testament to the passion and dedication of our students, families, and team. I’m grateful for all we’ve accomplished together and excited for the journey ahead.
