Back to its beginnings: Maytag Plant 1 once again hums with appliances, but with a modern day twist! The Maytag name is synonymous with Iowan culture and BDC is proud to be afforded the responsibility to bring new life to the historic structure. The first two buildings are nearing completion and turnover. Wandering the hallways yesterday we captured this photo of appliances staged for installation - a production line of sorts. It’s nothing spectacular to see, but the irony of what it symbolized at that moment, in that building, was a special moment. It’s how Stella got her groove back. Work hard. Play hard. Perdurable. When you care, you act. You don’t walk away, you just resolve. Whether you’re one of the top dogs on site or not, it’s equally important to problem solve with haste for the success of the project. The photo captures problem resolution in its raw form today with Owner, PX and Superintendent. No waiting, just action. We played a little chess with the issue, weighed it all up, came to an agreement and moved on. Success can be measured in many forms.
