He's an extreme wheelchair athlete who hits the skatepark hard, performing stunts and tricks, and is a true inspiration to EVERYONE. Today is World Environment Day, celebrating a global initiative to encourage awareness and action for protection of our environment. This year's theme, "Beat Plastic Pollution," highlights the urgent need to reduce plastic waste and promote sustainable practices. BSLS gathers together to pick up trash and clean up on environmental day, and throughout the year in local areas, to help our communities. We also have Individuals who are fiercely passionate about sorting plastics and recycling in the homes. They ensure all of us do our best to be kind to our planet. Pull out those fishing poles and let's get fishing! ???? "Fishing is a way of living and a way of life!" During the summer months, our Individuals love to be outside! Some people swim, many fish, others perfect their cooking skills, and many gather outside together in the evenings telling stories and laughing. Beacon summertime details: https://bit.ly/3Kpqojz. Starting this month, we begin our fishing competition. Who can catch: the ugliest, the funniest, the cutest, the weirdest... fish! Homes send in photos, tell tall tales of their experiences, and then there are prizes for our top category champions. The beauty about Beacon is coming together!
