This Thanksgiving, I'm incredibly grateful for the amazing clients we represent free-of-charge at Beacon Center of Tennessee. Over the past year, we've represented 13 individuals in six new direct representation cases. Our clients have different backgrounds, different views, and different interests. But they're all amazing Americans who are pursuing the American dream. We're honored to help them fight back against laws and regulations that stand in their way.

I am thrilled to share that I have joined the Beacon Center of Tennessee team as Entrepreneur in Residence for Education. In this role, I’ll have the incredible opportunity to collaborate with the most innovative minds across the state to impact both education practice and policy. My focus will be on supporting learner-centered approaches, school choice advocacy, and elevating the growing entrepreneurial opportunities available through the microschool movement. Education is at the heart of our communities, and I believe empowering parents, learners, and educators to choose solutions that work for them is the key to unlocking a limitless future for young people in Tennessee. As an entrepreneur, educator, and advocate, I am passionate about creating scalable, sustainable, and learner-focused solutions. NEW CASE: Dr. Laura Colman is a licensed chiropractor who is trained and certified in animal chiropractic. Yet Tennessee regulation forces her to spend four years and thousands of dollars in vet school before she may earn a living as an animal chiropractor. The regulation violates the Tennessee Constitution, which protects Dr. Colman's fundamental right to earn a living. It also violates Tennessee separation-of-powers principles. Chattanooga, TN is quickly becoming a vibrant hub of education entrepreneurship, thanks in large part to the efforts of Rachel Good and other local school founders! It was great to gather yesterday for a dinner workshop with founders, sponsored by Beacon Center of Tennessee and State Policy Network. Always great to see amazing founders like Coi Morefield and connect with education policy champions like Jason Edmonds, Taylor Dawson Justice, and Jane McEnaney.

The manager will be responsible for strategic communication and media engagement, serving as chief spokesman, managing marketing initiatives, and overseeing digital comms. The manager will also produce external content, manage outreach programs, and collaborate with the Senior Director of External Affairs to advocate for individual liberty and limited government. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of relevant experience, exceptional communication skills, and a strong passion for free-market principles and individual liberty.
