Every week, we’re edging closer to launching Manchester’s Charging Oasis, and our CEO, Asif Ghafoor, is taking you behind the scenes ?? This space is rewriting the EV charging rulebook – ditching the ‘traditional’ forecourt model in every sense. No pumps, no petrol nostalgia – just a purpose-built destination designed for electric journeys. The Caffè Nero Express is taking shape, the part-recycled tarmac is down, and the power banks are installed. And, for the first time at Be.EV, this entire site will deliver up to 300kW ultra-rapid charging – meaning drivers can add up to 325 miles of range in just 20 minutes. Next up? A green glow-up as we bring the Oasis to life. Wait until you see the finishing touches before we hit the go live button. Stay tuned! ??? #FromPetrolToPower

It’s beginning to take shape ?? Launching this spring, we’re super excited for our next location in Altrincham as we welcome a brand new ultra-rapid Charging Hub to Atlantic Street Retail Park (WA14 5BW). Just seconds off the A56, it’ll bring 8 bays (one fully accessible) up to 150kW, giving EV drivers more reasons to swing by Aldi, hit Gym Group, or challenge their mates at Atlantic Bowl ?? – all while powering-up! We promised you more construction sneak peeks – here’s the latest. Stay tuned for the big reveal ? John MacBrayne Mark Constantine Watkin Property Ventures #EVCharging #ChargingHub #ComingSoon

Urban regeneration isn't just about shiny new buildings – it’s about rethinking (and reusing) infrastructure to make cities cleaner, greener, and more connected.? ? Why does this matter? Well, when we talk about regeneration – we’re talking about a better quality of life, sustainable developments, and places that people want to live – electric vehicles are pretty much a non-negotiable in this conversation.? ? In our latest blog, we explore Hulme, a district just outside Manchester City Centre, where Be.EV’s latest ultra-rapid charging hub is helping shape the area’s future.? ? Powering-up drivers when they need it, supporting local businesses to get more footfall and helping communities embrace an electric future – Charging Hubs like the one at Hulme Retail Park are the blueprint for how EV charging is central to urban regeneration. ? A bit of positivity never hurt anyone… ?????? The UK just hit 75,000 charge points, and one in four new cars sold in February were fully electric ?? Two big ticks in our book, but behind the figures there’s a couple of points that our CEO, Asif Ghafoor raised in Transport + Energy this week. One... the number of new charge points is fantastic but what’s better is the growth (15,000+) in rapid / ultra-rapid options which is a fantastic achievement and has surged by 84% last year alone.?New drivers need confidence in speedy top-ups, and that's exactly what's rolling out at speed. Second... with all these new EVs on the roads, the transition is happening fast, and charging providers (us included) have a job to do – build sites that suit EV drivers today and tomorrow, not three years ago. The year of the newbie is upon us – more EVs on the road, more chargers in the ground, and more new drivers discovering charging for the first time. The electric transition is in full swing and we’re here for it ?? https://lnkd.in/emMyWd34 #EVCharging #EVInfrastructure

Shortlisted! Our £55 million funding deal with NatWest Commercial and Institutional and KfW IPEX-Bank has landed us a spot in the ACT Deals of the Year Awards 2024 (Government & Project Finance category). Months later and our funding deal is still having a ripple effect on the EV Charging industry and beyond, paving the way for new investment, both domestically and internationally, into the world of EV infrastructure. This deal wasn’t just numbers on a page. It’s already powering real change by funding ultra-rapid charging hubs like our latest site launch Hulme Retail Park and proving that major lenders are backing the EV transition in a big way. A huge thank you to EY for the nomination. Good luck to fellow nominees MACE GROUP and Statera Energy– see you at the awards! Association of Corporate Treasurers #ACTAwards #EVCharging #Investment

Doctor, Doctor... I can't find my exhaust?! ??? ? EVs aren't just for school runs, holiday road trips and local deliveries – turns out they're pretty good for helping save lives too. ? Aside from just being a sight we LOVE to see, these electric ambulances are a gentle reminder that if emergency vehicles can go fully electric and rely on the public charging network, then maybe (just maybe) it’s time to retire the old “EVs aren’t practical” debate once and for all. ? This speedy Kia EV6 was spied topping up at our 15-bay Charging Hubs at Decathlon Stockport, whilst this Mercedes eVito 'Peter Panbulance' (amazing) was seen sipping the ultra-rapid electrons at our new 8-bay North Valley Retail Park Hub in Colne. A huge shout out to the amazing work they're doing ?? ? What's the coolest EV you've spotted charging-up? ???? ? #EmergencyEV #EVCharging
