?? Building a Vision for Belonging at Oxford College of Emory University ?? Last week, Be Equitable consultants Falon Thacker, Ph.D., and Shari Davis, SPHR, SHRM-SCP (she/her) led a transformative strategy development experience for Oxford College of Emory University, setting the foundation for their DEI vision over the next 3–5 years. The energy in the room was contagious, filled with optimism and dedication to fostering an environment where all students, faculty, and staff feel a deep sense of belonging. A heartfelt thank-you to the incredible project team who made this experience seamless: Claudia Zanjanchian, Lindsey Van Note, Molly McGehee, and Michele Hempfling, Ph.D. Together, we’re reimagining what’s possible when equity and inclusion are at the center of our work and goals for the future. #BeEquitable #StrategicVision #EquityInAction #Belonging #HigherEducation

At Be Equitable, we imagine a workplace where everyone, regardless of ability, has the tools and environment to thrive. Disability inclusion is more than accessibility; it's about equity. ? ?? Did You Know? Nearly 1 in 4 U.S. adults have some form of disability, yet only 29% of working-age people with disabilities are employed (CDC, Bureau of Labor Statistics). When organizations prioritize accessibility and accommodate unique needs, employee engagement and retention can increase by up to 90% (Accenture, Getting to Equal). ? As Disability Employee Awareness Month comes to a close, we wanted to share some key strategies for making your organization more inclusive and accessible. #Accessibility #InclusionMatters #Equity #DisabilityAwareness #Accomodations
