BD SUMHAC’s Chair, Kate Bazinsky, will be joining National Bleeding Disorders Foundation’s Washington Days from March 5-7, 2025, to advocate for the #bleedingdisorders community on Capitol Hill. Last year, more than 50 BD SUMHAC advocates met with Members of Congress in D.C., successfully securing congressional support that led to the finalization of a new rule under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 — ensuring greater equity and access to behavioral health facilities for people with bleeding disorders. Remember that your voice matters. Advocacy makes a difference! #WashingtonDays2025
