600 square foot wall, 5 days of painting, 92°+ heat, 21 cans of spray paint, 2+ gallons of primer and paint, 2x getting stuck on the scissor lift, 5 paint store runs, 1 awesome client (BDP Holdings) for trusting the vision and countless people supporting the mission (Matthew Meskill Jonathan Har-Even Bryan Wilson). Yes!!!!!!!! Municipalities need to do their part to modify zoning regulations around these valuable sites. TOD oriented sites should be fully realized to allow more housing develepment. As paradigms shift, we’re seeing value in sites with walkable amenities (shopping, dining, entertainment). More and more zero car households, which take advantage of public transit, ride sharing, and house-car resources, exist in TOD developments further reducing the misrepresentations that development creates more traffic and parking concerns. Giving Back! I’m a firm believer in giving back. As far back as I can remember, volunteering and supporting our community has always been something my family and I have done. We give our time, sweat, knowledge, tears, experience, network and dollars to support a variety of community organizations and events. We are most proud of what is to become of the new Montclair HUB, and property our family foundation acquired late last year. A 50,000SF building being brought back to life to serve the community is something special. Unanimous Zoning Board Approval! Tremendous team effort led by Alan Trembulak including Alan Horwitz (@Baseline Architecture) Vincent Esposito, P.E. and Dan Disario (Langan Engineering & Environmental Services) and George Williams (Nishuane Group, LLC) for the approval of BDP 6-10 Erie, LLC’s approval for Sharron Miller’s Academy for the Performing Arts’ (SMAPA) new home. SMAPA is a Montclair institution, serving the community for 28 years, including a couple Placek kids. We are so honored to work with these tremendous people and their firms, and look forward to welcoming Sharron to our property. BDP Holdings looks forward to updating, renovating and enhancing this property now that we’ve taken it from 45% occupancy to 100% leased. Some pics today and renderings of SMAPAs new home below.
