?? We are both humbled and incredibly honored to share that the CRA has been recognized with two prestigious awards for the Ripple Stormwater EcoArt Project! ?? First, we are thrilled to receive the 2024 Garden of Excellence Award in Commercial and Institutional Landscaping from the Native Plant Society. This recognition highlights the project's dedication to sustainability and the use of native plants in creating vibrant, environmentally conscious spaces. ?? Secondly, we are deeply grateful to be awarded the 2024 Honorary Special Recognition Award by Martin Arts for our contributions to creative placemaking through this project. It's a true honor to be acknowledged by both the arts and environmental communities for work that merges creativity with ecological impact. The Ripple Stormwater EcoArt Project has transformed four parcels in Old Palm City into a living, breathing Stormwater Treatment Area that not only beautifies the area but plays a critical role in protecting our environment. With over 11,000 native plants, walking trails, educational elements, and art installations, this project reduces phosphorus and nitrogen levels in the Indian River Lagoon system, benefiting both the local ecosystem and our community. These awards are a testament to the hard work, collaboration, and shared vision of our community members, partners, and all who helped bring this project to life. We are especially thankful for the guidance and hard work of EcoArtist Lucy Keshavarz and Horticulturalist Carly Batts, whose expertise and dedication were invaluable in bringing this vision to life. Thank you to Native Plant Society and Martin Arts for this recognition and to everyone who has been a part of this journey! Here's to the power of collaboration, creativity, and a greener, more sustainable future! ???? #Sustainability #EcoArt #NativePlants #CreativePlacemaking #EnvironmentalStewardship #StormwaterManagement #GreenSpaces #AwardWinner #CommunityImpact #IndianRiverLagoon #ArtsAndEnvironment #Honored #Grateful
