Progress is soaring at the Hoosier Storage Merrillville site! ?? Out of 9 planned buildings, 4 are fully erected, and our team is focused on interior and exterior finishes. After dealing with some harsh winter conditions, concrete work is back in motion for the final 5 buildings. By August, we’ll have a state-of-the-art facility offering 82,825 sq ft of rentable space, including 65,300 sq ft of climate-controlled units and 17 RV storage spots ~ creating the ideal storage solution for Merrillville. What a gorgeous day for some serious construction progress at IFD 32 in Broadripple! ??? The weathers on our side (let’s hope it stays this way!), and things are moving fast ?? The job site is a beehive of activity today, with ICS working on the structural framing and trusses, Elbrecht Concrete completed the stairs and are preparing for tomorrow’s multi-level interior pour, and KJ Funke is making great progress with the sprinkler system installation. How cool to get an inside look of how it all comes together! Busy site with multiple trades working in sync—getting closer to completion every day! Demo is complete, and the space that will soon be FCHS’s next-level Science/Tech Center is taking shape! While it’s not the “flashiest” phase, it’s the critical first step toward something truly epic. ?Next up? Plumbing going in right behind us! This $50M+ renovation is bringing more than just updated classrooms — we’re talking a state-of-the-art activity center to include an indoor track, FOUR basketball courts, and more! ??♂??? Dirt work for the activity center kicks off in a few weeks, with Phase 2B set to wrap by summer 2026. It’s an exciting time to be a Franklin Flash ??!!
