Social engineering is when hackers try to trick you into revealing private information that will allow them to hack your accounts. One popular way has been those little “here’s my favorite..." fill-in-the-blank games on Facebook, but that’s not the only one. Sometimes hackers will create fake accounts, try to become friends, and manipulate you into revealing data. They have all types of creative scams.
