We were honored to have an opportunity to host the 2025 Bryan College Station Chamber of Commerce #LeadershipBrazos team for a quick overview and tour on Texas A&M-RELLIS earlier today. While here, they were able to see some of the #capabilities the Texas A&M University System and Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station (TEES) are using to #accelerate the development of critical national security technologies. We're proud to serve with them!

Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS) is one of the top military modernization priorities. To tackle this challenge, it's going to take expertise from #industry, #academia and #government. As the Texas A&M University System continues to develop capabilities to support government and industry in this critical area, it is critical to hear from stakeholders such as the U.S. Army Air Defense Artillery School to make sure we are doing everything we can in supporting the effort. We were honored to host their Commandant and Deputy Commandant, along with the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets Army ROTC (Official Page) Professor of Military Science (also an Air Defender) here on Texas A&M-RELLIS to showcase capabilities and discuss potential collaboration opportunities.

Humans Teaching AI to Learn Faster by Interventions in Real-Time The Cycle-of-Learning (CoL) framework developed by Vehicle Systems & Control Laboratory (VSCL) and U.S. Army DEVCOM Army Research Laboratory accelerates AI training by combining human demonstrations with real-time interventions. Initially, a human guides the AI through a task, like helping an unmanned vehicle land. Then, as the AI attempts the task autonomously, the human steps in when it deviates, incorporating these corrections into the AI’s training data. This approach focuses on specific areas of difficulty, reducing the overall data required and allowing non-technical users to refine AI behavior without programming. By creating a continuous learning loop, CoL enables autonomous systems to rapidly develop complex skills in dynamic environments from human interaction.
