The workplace for Northpond Ventures in a historic San Francisco high-rise includes a welcoming lobby, conference rooms, private offices, open office space, a pantry/breakroom, gender-neutral restrooms, and a mothers’ room. The build-out blended modern finishes with existing structural elements and infrastructure. The original exposed brick surfaces were protected and featured in the design, and to reduce costs, the existing ductwork and sprinklers were reused, relocated, and surface-mounted to work with the new layout.
