We’ve spent the past year thinking about how organizations can use information from BBC disparity studies to build contracting inclusion programs better targeted toward businesses that need the most support. The result is an expansive disparity study framework that considers the intersections among various business characteristics to help our clients develop holistic, multidimensional programs to encourage the participation of disadvantaged businesses in their contracts with or without the use of race- and gender-based measures. City of Portland Bonding and Technical Assistance Training The City of Portland, procurement services will be hosting the Bonding and Technical Assistance trainings and workshops held on two days within March. The flyer provides the list of classes, and registration as if any supplier can’t make it in person, we will be holding all the classes virtually. Please encourage your members and community to register so we can also make sure we reach out with the link for the hybrid option and post the trainings for check in! These trainings would not be happening without the support of many of you; our community partners, and the contracting community! Parking: Below are options for parking near and near-ish the Portland Building. While there is street parking around the building, we will warn that lately there has been various projects around City Hall and the Portland Building and many of the streets have been blocked off as no parking.
