Grateful and proud! ?? We wrapped up an amazing Thanksgiving meal kit event in partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bucks County! We assembled meal bags for over fifty local families. This event was made possible by the generous donations from our dedicated Aramark Student Nutrition staff and the support of a vital grant through Social Current. Why is mentorship important??? Many of you have enjoyed the story of Dani and Ilene- a Big and Little who've met through our mentorship program and developed a life-changing relationship. ????Through activities like feeding goats and baking pizzas, Ilene has become a role model for Dani, helping her become more self-confident and mature. As for Ilene, “Dani keeps me on my toes and young at heart!" ??A Budding Relationship: Introducing Josh & O'Mari?????? Congrats to one of our newest mentorship matches Big Brother Josh and Little Brother O'Mari! ????To break the ice at their first meeting, they went bowling and ate pizza together. The pair has also enjoyed an afternoon strolling through the Langhorne Harvest Festival.?? "He's such a sweet kid and very considerate," says Big Brother Josh. "He's shy, so it was fun to see him go up to the booths and get candy from the people in costumes!"?? Josh has already begun to make an impact in his 'Little Brother's' life. "O'Mari is soo happy about Josh, he really likes him!" Mom Shanell shared. ??They have big plans coming up in December-- Josh invited O'Mari to ride with him in a Christmas charity parade to help hand out candy.
