Dr. Taylor, Executive Director of Early Childhood Services, joined a "Lunch and Learn" at the Bay Area Chamber of Commerce to support education leader Rich VanTol of Bay-Arenac ISD. Rich delivered an insightful presentation on the Michigan Tri-Share Program, showcasing innovative ways to make childcare more accessible and affordable for families across the state. ???? Sharing MiFamily Engagement Center Region 5 early literacy resources at the Fathers Count Conference hosted by Saginaw Intermediate School District Great Start Collaborative in partnership with their Head Start and Michigan State University Extension!

Our dedicated Assistive Technology Specialist, Katie, and SLPs Katie and Natalie recently presented *Starting Strong: AAC Essentials for Early Intervention* at the Early On Michigan conference! They’re passionate about helping young children find their voices and guiding families with essential tools and support from the start.

Assistive Technology Specialists Katie Butzu from Bay-Arenac ISD and Suzy Ruskusky from Kent ISD presented at the Michigan Early On Conference, sharing insights on how Assistive Technology (AT) and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) can foster more inclusive environments for our youngest learners. Their dedication to empowering children through innovative tools and strategies inspires us all!

Staci Hurley, Department Head for School Social Workers and Jamey Norman, Assistant Director of Special Education, presented on the work of Bay-Arenac ISD and district staff to write effective behavior plans at the Michigan Multi-Tiered Systems of Support Conference. Thanks for all your work in planning and implementing behavior plans in Bay and Arenac counties!
