Bay Area Disc Association is thrilled to announce Patricia Anderson is joining the BADA team as our new Community Manager! Patricia will be responsible for building a new model for recruiting and retaining queer folks of color interested in playing Ultimate, including how to build better pathways to support and develop new players so they choose to continue their journey into BADA’s existing leagues and tournaments. Patricia has been a member of the Ultimate community for a number of years now. She started her Ultimate career in Southern California until making her way to the Bay Area. Previously an User Experience Designer, Patricia brings her expertise in creating solutions to various problems with a user focus. She currently is a player and staff member with the women’s professional team, Bay Area Falcons and previously had played with San Francisco mixed team, Mischief.? She looks forward to supporting her community of queer folks of color and contributing to making the Bay Area Ultimate community more diverse. “I am so excited to welcome Patricia as our newest team member,” shares Executive Director Jen Pashley. “She brings extensive experience in user design, project management and web development and is a seasoned Ultimate leader at every level of our sport, from recreational to professional. We are truly lucky to have her take on this important new role and the positive impact it will have for our community.” Please join us in welcoming Patricia to the BADA team!
