We held a "Blackout Party" yesterday celebrating the liner installation at South Wake MSW Ph. 2C with Bradley Murray running the cooking crew serving lunch for 70. Thank you to our hard working team at Baxter Johnson Contracting preparing the cell and the amazing crews at Chesapeake Containment Systems, Inc. for placing 14 acres in 2 weeks! Great progress from a great project team including Wake County, GFL Environmental Inc., and Smith Gardner, Inc.

We are proud to achieve our 11th consecutive Gold Safety Award from the NC Department of Labor for achieving safety metrics at least 50% below the industry average. Safety is a core value here that permeates every level of the organization. Congratulations to our wonderful employees on this achievement.

This is our 70th year in business! We are grateful for the partnerships we have built with employees, clients, and vendors and look forward to creating many more in the years to come!?

Two teams participated in the 10th annual TA Loving Company “Shoot for the Cure” on April 12.?This is our 10th year participating in a great event that raises money for cancer-related charities in eastern NC.? Aaron, Gio, Jack, and Nate didn’t threaten the awards stand, but they spent a beautiful afternoon raising money for a good cause.?

We are just getting started on our latest residential project in Cary in the Millstone subdivision with Toll Brothers.?After getting through a couple of wet months, we are making some progress and should?be ready to pave by July.

Looking?back at one of our favorite projects, 5401 North! In 2016, we partnered with Commercial Properties Realty Trust on the 5401 North development project. We performed mass grading on the site for this project and constructed permanent ponds, underground water/ sewer/storm utilities, asphalt roadways, and parking lots. Our partnership with CPRT has expanded over the last?eight?years?as we continued to build out the master-planned development, including out parcels, roadways, and more.
