What's good for some may not be good for others for features designed to reduce harm in mobile gaming apps, according to #BauerResearch. Research published in the European Journal of Information Systems by #UHBauer Associate Professor Xiao Ma, along with University of Galway's Eoin Whelan, Concordia University's Adele Morvannou, University of Minnesota's Richard James, Atlantic Technological University's Trevor Clohessy, and University of Melbourne's Ofir Tur el found that harm-reduction tools, like setting time or spending limits, may work well for some gamblers, while negatively impacting others.
