A Huge Thank You to our friends and supporters at JULABO USA, Inc. ???? On November 19, JULABO USA presented a check to benefit the veterans and mission of Battle Borne. This is to assist our organization in supporting veterans and their families through building social connection, strengthening community, and facilitating mental health services. The check presenters included 3 veterans on JULABO’s Service team – Robert Fox, Nelson Hill, and Jefferson Pinto. Members of the Management team were also onsite to view the presentation, which took place during National Veterans and Military Families Month. Christopher Yarnell, CPS spent some time talking with the team and sharing stories about some of the challenges veterans face in their daily life. Battle Borne will use the funds, which were amassed through JULABO USA’s vending fund, to help feed veterans in need, among other health initiatives. We would like to thank our friends, our Battle Borne Family, and our community partners who help make our MilitaryShare Food Distribution Program in Monroe and in Lehigh Counties a huge success each month!! We could not do this without you. We are forever grateful to our friends, Commander Dan and Greg, and the folks from VFW Post 3448 in Tobyhanna. Thanks to their generous contribution of Turkeys, we were able to provide 44 families with turkeys today in addition to the full food packages ?? !!! MilitaryShare Packages include milk, meat, eggs, 25 lbs of dry goods, and other proteins, along with 10 lbs of fresh produce. Huge shout-out to our volunteer team members for doing an outstanding job. Today's teams included employees from QVC ABE2 & Qurate Retail Group. Gina Gaglione and her team have been a staple each and every month here in Monroe County and Lehigh County. Along with our Nursing Student Interns from Moravian University & Trooper Tristan from the Pennsylvania State Police. It was truly an honor to have PSP on-site assisting the military and veteran families. CJ Jenkin has been a certified Holistic Health Practitioner for 20 years, helping children and adults overcome physical and emotional trauma with specialized cranial and structural therapies. This helps veterans overcome PTSD, Depression, other forms of trauma related conditions, and physical trauma. TJ Bushta, CPA and Christopher Yarnell, CPS wanted to get together with him this morning to get him up and out of the house and back into the swing of things. It's always a good time when we can get together with one another. Our gathering isn't always just business meetings about where we see the next need and how the mission is going and growing. Sometimes, it's just getting together to let each other know that we are all in this together. And #TogetherWeRise It was a great time and we thoroughly enjoyed bumping into Steven Krause as well.
