Based in the Bay Area, Liz has more than 30 years of global sales and executive leadership experience spanning enterprise, public sector/government and telecom industries in over 30 countries. Her experience includes serving as Chief Revenue Officer at Quantum, VP, Go-to-Market and Enablement for Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), VP of strategic alliances for IBM, and & Global Systems Integrator Sales at Juniper Networks. Her experience also includes VP & general manager of the Hitachi Server Group of Hitachi Data Systems (now Hitachi Vantara) and executive positions at Nokia (formerly Alcatel-Lucent (ALU)), Sun Microsystems, Raytheon, and Texas Instruments. "How does LA create a LEGACY with hosting the 2028 Olympic & Paralympic Games?" ^^This was the theme I heard throughout many conversations last week while attending CoMotion and Green Tech Festival. We have such an incredible opportunity with the games coming to LA in less than 4 years and I'm excited to witness how Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI) and our portfolio companies will play a role! In building on the theme of legacy, it was so fun seeing so many LACI companies across several cohorts out and about last week! As a mission driven company, the work of Kidsave can only be applauded as the the non-profit helps older kids in foster care are be seen, find families, and thrive. Since 1999 Kidsave's innovative Family Visit Model has helped more than 29,000 older kids in care and orphanages find families and meaningful lasting connections. First time I have heard of a Tesla big rig catching on fire, not the load the tractor.

EV battery fires can be very damaging. This recent fire of Mercedes EV in underground parking garage in Seoul/Korea has prompted removal of charging stations from underground parkings to the outside. Check WSJ publication (link is below) for details. Looks like this car was not even under charge when burst in flames. Based on an additional information from Korea, it was Mercedes EQE with NCM batteries produced by Farasis Energy . Car had actually exploded sending 23 people to hospital. https://lnkd.in/eVF7tC8G
