From a young age, many children are interested in science. But many girls who want to pursue a #STEM career lack confidence in their science and math abilities. Battelle worked with Ruling Our eXperiences, Inc. (ROX) to produce "The Girls’ Index: Girls & STEM 2024 Impact Report". in addition to these revealing findings, it focuses on helping girls navigate adolescence and feel confident in themselves. To celebrate National #HispanicHeritageMonth, Battelle's employee resource group (ERG), Embrace, hosted a conversational Spanish language course to help fellow co-workers learn and practice together! From greeting peers to ordering food, friends at Battelle enjoyed connecting with their fellow Solvers.

We've got you, Ohio. Battelle has funded 248 grants totaling $1,160,000 to enhance #STEM learning in classrooms across Ohio. The Ohio STEM Learning Network #OSLN Classroom Grants support sustainable, STEM-based educational projects in 197 public schools and 144 school districts in 67 counties.
