Putting people at the heart of digital security

关于我们

The Bath Institute for Digital Security and Behaviour at the University of Bath recognises the central role of human behaviour in security threats, and therefore places understanding people, groups, and organisations at the heart of digital security. The purpose of the Institute is to solve global security challenges through world-leading, interdisciplinary, socio-technical research that co-creates inclusive security solutions by adopting a “whole of society” approach. The Institute helps make the UK a more innovative, secure, and resilient digital society, helping develop the next generation of experts in digital security and behaviour, and advancing the UK as a global leader in digital security. At the Institute, we develop new research proposals across all our faculties, as well as supporting existing funded research projects such as the Centre for Research and Evidence on Security Threats (CREST), the ESRC Digital Security by Design Social Science Hub+ (Discribe), and REPHRAIN - a UKRI national research centre focusing on interdisciplinary research relating to privacy and online safety. The Institute provides support to business and industry partners, as well as research teams, to solve global issues around digital security.
