Over the weekend I had the pleasure of attending the HBA of SC Convention with Bateman Civil Survey Company! It was at an absolutely gorgeous hotel on the intercostal waterway. The entire weekend was planned perfectly with events, speakers, activities for families and great meals provided throughout the 3 day conference. Great key note speakers, both John Hunt and John Polumbo gave updates on the economy, SC real estate trends, and sales tactics. I especially enjoyed John Polumbos sock trick, HA! I also attended a great panel on workforce development that included Lt Governor, Pamela Evette. They emphasized the continuing importance of getting the middle/higshcool aged kids involved through apprenticeships and learning about the trades. We need them! Even a charcuterie board building class, and wine tasting was an awesome time! I look forward to next years, and furthering the connections made in South Carolina for Bateman Civil Survey Company. #landsurveyorsinSC #civilengineeringSC #HBASC #HGHBA #batemancivilsurveycompany

The first two days of our Breaking Barriers Conference have been nothing short of a great time and a success! We always look forward to this time where we celebrate our accomplishments for the year, and discuss how we can keep building the futures of students for years to come. And just think, we still have one more day to go!

We were honored to be recognized with an award for securing 1st place in the Pender County S.H.E.D. event earlier this year. It was a great opportunity to connect with industry professionals and celebrate our team’s hard work and achievements!
