The snow season is almost upon us and we are now taking applications for Snow Angels (our volunteer snow shoveling team) as well as for seniors or people with limited mobility who need help with snow removal and don't have the means to pay for it. This super fun event is hosted by the Batavia Lions Club to benefit Batavia United Way's Adopt-A-Family program. Admission costs either a new package of underwear or socks or $10...or BOTH if you're feeling generous! We are so proud to be a part of this community! We had so many volunteers, OVER 100, come out to rake leaves for seniors in our community! Girl scouts, high school groups, Batavia Youth Baseball teams, families, and individuals spent about 2 hours of their Sunday doing good for our 'hood! #DayofCaring #LiveUnited
