Meet our latest recipient of Bass Gives Back, Sasha Leiniz, whose courage and love for her family inspire us all as she continues her fight against Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer. Sasha Leiniz is the mother of 3 wonderful girls – Esperanza (10), Zoe (6), and Izabel (4), and wife to Joel Leiniz. She is the Director of the Children's Ministry at the New Covenant Church in Pompano Beach. After fighting breast cancel for over a year and ringing the “cancer-free” bell on August 30th, Sasha was back in the hospital on September 1st after she collapsed from what she describes was a throbbing headache. When Joel took her to the ER, the family learned that her breast cancer has spread to her brain, chest, lungs and liver, and was now classified as Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer. She had a surgery to remove a large mass on her brain on September 6th which went well. She has also begun receiving chemotherapy for cancer cells in her lungs and liver. Their biggest battle to save Sasha’s life has just begun. The Bass Gives Back donation will help this family pay for Sasha’s continuous medical treatments and expenses.

Stay Safe During Hurricane Milton As Hurricane Milton approaches, our top priority is everyone's safety. Please take all necessary precautions, follow local advisories, and stay indoors if possible. If you’re in the affected areas, make sure you have an emergency kit and a plan in place. Current Update: Hurricane Milton has strengthened to a Category 5 with sustained winds of 175 mph, currently located 700 miles southwest of Tampa, Florida. It is expected to approach Florida's west coast by Wednesday. Please continue to monitor local news for any changes and emergency instructions.
