Crystal Chang Cohen gave a great discussion on the real challenge with addressing the complex issue of Climate Change. UC Berkeley student clubs aiding entrepreneurship and sustainability: Akash Jain representing Berkeley Entrepreneurs Association and how startups can navigate the complex entrepreneurial ecosystem at Cal. Patatoukas Daniel Bernath Liao represents the student club Enactus to encourage entrepreneurs to take action for social good. Industry Partner DraperU Ventures represented by Siddarth Sridhar Hari Parthasarathy and Shasi Pinninti for great insights on how startups have an avenue to the Draper University campus in San Mateo discussing the challenges of creating sustainable cities. We had inspiring UC Berkeley sustainable startups share their visions for a more sustainable world. Paul Bryzek from Carbon Sustain slashes the cost of carbon emission accounting and guides SMBs to decarbonize their operations with AI. Whit Childs from Woodcache PBC helps to reduce the amount of carbon that ends up in the atmosphere earning CO2 Removal Certificates (CORCs) through Puro.Earth. They're significantly lowering the cost of high-quality credits and increasing the supply. Ashmita Kumar from Codeblue startup uses AI to detect a stroke from the camera on your iPhone and automatically notifies the caretaker. Getting to the hospital within the 1st hour is critical.
