Last Thursday, we were privileged to be able to host the NKBA Columbia River Chapter's Luxury Appliance Panel at our Lake Oswego location! Our showrooms came to life with the appearances of local brand representatives who took the time to talk with NKBA members about their products over tasty food and drinks. The panel featured BSH's Jason Mullen, Designer Chelly Wentworth, CMKBD, CLIPP, Middleby's Melissa Firman, and Jenny Haynes of Metke Remodeling, who spoke about their extensive first-hand knowledge about luxury appliances in the current market. As the proud supplier of the largest selection of Induction Ranges in the PNW, BASCO Appliances was excited to co-sponsor with Thermador the ElectrifyPDX Home Electrification Fair this past weekend! Chef Lena of Lena's Kitchen Blog provided some tasty family recipes and offered samples from her live demos on a Thermador 36" Freedom? Induction Cooktop, and our BSH Home Appliances Group vendor representative, Jason Mullen, took time to educate guests about the evolving technology of induction options. Induction cooktops are great at providing fast, energy efficient heat that distributes evenly under the surface of whatever pot or pan is placed on it, and just as impressively, the technology of induction is programmed to only heat when in contact with compatible pots or pans, meaning no accidental fires or burns! We're so happy to have had this opportunity to network with and provide appliance insight to our local community!

BASCO Appliances was thrilled to sponsor Celebrity Chef Kitchen for the ilani BBQ Fest, featuring top chefs like Tiffani Faison, Rodney Scott, and Alton Brown! These three and the 12 additional celebrity chefs served up some amazing BBQ dishes for attendants over the course of 3 Grand Tasting Sessions. With accompanying drinks, live music, and the opportunity to meet the chefs themselves, this past weekend was a blast! We hope to see you at the upcoming ilani Wine & Food Festival, September 20th-22nd!

Our team had a great time this past weekend at the Tacos, Tequila, and Taps Festival with some of our star clients. On Thursday, our clients got to enjoy an exclusive private dinner event, then Friday they were treated to the official preview night with celebrity chef and Santana Ways Cover Band for live entertainment. Finally, the main event on Saturday met them with both Grand Tasting sessions. The event in its entirety was an absolute blast, and we can't wait to see you all at the next one, the ilani BBQ Fest!
