Honoring #InternationalWomensDay with Project Manager Amanda Pfeiffer! ?? Since joining our Orlando, Florida team in September, Amanda has leveraged her extensive experience in the hospitality market to make a significant impact on a current themed-resort project. Amanda's journey into hospitality began with her first project at a zoo in Knoxville. What she enjoyed most was watching her nephew and family experience what she had helped build, sparking her passion for building facilities design to create memorable experiences. This unique perspective allows Amanda to understand the complexities of construction operations, with the goal of maintaining and enhancing the guest experience. From being on-site actively problem-solving and supporting the team, to thinking ahead and applying her wealth of knowledge, Amanda is a true asset to our projects. Today, we celebrate all the incredible women in our industry who are making a difference every day! #WICWeek #WICWeek25 #WomeninConstructionWeek2025

?? Meet Project Manager Sydney Wilhelm, who is currently working on the Vanderbilt Master Athletics Plan project in Nashville, Tennessee. Sydney found her way to construction by working as a Business Manager for an electrical subcontractor in California, thanks in part to her background in math and statistics. As her role became more integrated with the company’s projects and their superintendents and project engineers, she fell in love with working out on site. “Even though the industry itself has a reputation to be slower to change, each project is different, each client is different. You almost always have a different team you’re working with when you’re on a project. So, your circumstances are always changing. And that I really like because it makes it interesting every time you’re coming into work.” ?? Sydney’s commitment to building strong relationships with her team, subcontractors, and clients is at the heart of her success. She believes that the key to success is getting people to be the best versions of themselves in a way that contributes to the project's end goals. “When you have the best relationships with your subcontractors, and you have the best relationships with your team, you naturally end up creating a rewarding relationship with your client.” ? Sydney’s career path highlights that, regardless of your background, if you’re highly adaptable and passionate about relationships, you can find success in construction.

"We get to see where it started to what it ends up being." Before any major progress begins on a construction site, you may see one of Rhonda Rowe's trucks hauling out dirt, gravel, or broken concrete. She started Rowe Trucking LLC in 2007 with the help of her father, Arthur, who had his own trucking company for many decades. Rowe Trucking has worked on several Barton Malow projects, including Hudson's Detroit. #WICWeek #WICWeek25 #WomeninConstructionWeek2025
