    It doesn’t matter how delicious a product is on its own... If the brand isn’t inspiring customers with new ways to enjoy it, they’re missing out on serious loyalty and repeat purchases. Recipes are one of the best ways to drive product discovery, usage occasions, and customer retention. Showing customers how to mix up weekly dinners or snack ideas means they’ll consume more, buy more, and keep coming back. And for brands with a broader catalog, a recipe blog can connect customers to other products and even show them how different items work together to create something new. Investing in a recipe section—whether selling online or offline—and promoting it on-pack, in emails, and on social channels can go a long way for customer engagement. I’m biased ?? but loving this recipe blog we created for Sweet Loren's. After migrating them from WooCommerce, we started with a simple Shopify blog. As their product line grew, we gave it a full redesign to inspire more tasty ways for customers to experience their products.

    Today at 12pm ET, while on earth? is launching their Move Trainer and I couldn't be more excited. When I caught up with Todd Meleney, Alexis Callahan, Jedediah Magnusson, and the team earlier this year and learned about what they were building, I knew it was something special. What resonated most was that while on earth? isn’t just about performance gear—it’s about a commitment to becoming a better version of yourself. Their perspective on wellness is about meeting people wherever they are in their journey, and reinforcing the belief that anyone can become who they want to be. This is something I’ve felt deeply in my own personal growth, both in fitness and life, learning to challenge limiting beliefs, continue showing up, and pushing myself to achieve new heights. The Move Trainer, their debut shoe, is built for serious movement and versatility. It’s designed for high performance in the gym and wherever life takes you.     Riig?is a premium waterproof hat company designed for water enthusiasts. We reimagined their omnichannel experience including their Shopify e-commerce site, email campaigns, and social media strategy to support their expanding product line, enhance brand awareness, and boost sales through product education and social proof. A core component of the Riig redesign product storytelling was to highlight the hat’s waterproof functionality and unique micro-fit snapback closure which offers a precision fit that no other snapback hat can. To enhance customer retention and increase customer confidence when purchasing, we migrated Riig from Yotpo to Okendo and introduced a new referral program to grow their community. Barrel partnered with Milton’s to redesign and migrate their website from Wix to Shopify. With Milton’s 25-year history, we focused on engaging storytelling that makes it easy for both new and existing fans to learn more about their products. As a health-conscious and ingredient-focused brand, the dietary and nutritional value propositions of Milton’s products are prominently featured throughout the customer journey.     Some of our most rewarding projects aren't full-scale redesigns or multi-month endeavors. They're targeted initiatives designed to help a client achieve a specific outcome quickly and effectively. Last year, we collaborated with Theralogix, a precision nutrition brand who offers a diverse range of supplements supporting various aspects of health, including fertility, prenatal care, cardiovascular wellness, and more. Our task? Migrate their subscription and payment platform to Recharge. Most Theralogix customers visit with the website with a unique physician (or Provider Referral Code) code that provides them with a discounted, customized subscription. We worked closely with the client and Recharge crew to navigate these requirements and ensure a successful migration, while enabling a bunch of new features, like: → Allowing customers to enter or modify their member discount codes seamlessly. → Eliminating the need for manual code entry during checkout. → Streamlining the user experience by removing the hassle of inputting member numbers with each order.

    Aquor Water Systems redefined the traditional spigot by making a sleek and modern hydrant and other home & garden accessories. We helped Aquor increase customer acquisition and optimize the overall experience on their website. "At Aquor, we faced significant challenges with our website that hindered our ability to maximize app functionality and achieve optimal site performance and conversion rates across both our direct-to-consumer (DTC) and B2B sales channels. After reviewing several developers, Barrel emerged as the clear choice for us due to their focus on design, site performance metrics, and their commitment to clear project timelines. Barrel proved invaluable in helping us navigate through our outdated website constraints. Particularly on our B2B side, where we struggled with managing discounts, distribution, and retroactive adjustments for forgetful customers, Barrel offered a tailored solution outside of Shopify’s native capabilities.     ?? Attention Shopify Plus Merchants ?? Did you know that Shopify is requiring all Shopify Plus stores to upgrade from checkout.liquid to checkout extensibility by August 13, 2024? ?? ? We recently helped our client Cabot Creamery with the upgrade, which included updating checkout customizations, setting up pixels, and moving to one-page checkout. This update ensures that Cabot is set up to continue accepting orders and payments through August and beyond.
