On April 3rd, at the YMCA of Cape Cod, the Healy-Driscoll administration announced Barnstable Public Schools as one of the recipients of the Community Preschool Partnerships Initiative (CPPI) Planning and Implementation Grant.?The goal of this grant is to explore ways to expand local access to high quality preschool that meets the diverse needs of families in the community by building a mixed-delivery system of early childhood education which includes strong, collaborative partnerships between Barnstable Public Schools and community-based private preschool providers.
