We are looking to fill an open Foreman position. Please attach a resume of your previous experience to application, equipment you have run, and the crews you have overseen. We are looking for the following qualities. - Strong leadership skills - Capable of managing crews of 2-3 people in size. - GPS knowledge preferred - Capable of using Ipad to document time sheets, field quantities, and field reporting. -Willing to run equipment. -Must be capable of operating Dozer and trackhoes at minimum. - Must be able to read plans and specifications. Job Responsibilities: - Schedule Trucks and Hauling -Understand and Follow Budget and Production Plan -Call and attend inspections -Preventative Maintenance -Daily job posting -Crew Timecards -Submit material receipts and tickets -Conduct weekly toolbox talks -Fill out daily JHA forms -Order Materials -Complete punch lists and assist Superintendents with project closeout. -Notify field mechanic of any repairs needed. -OSHA 30 training preferred, or must be capable of completing OSHA 30 training. -Hold and Maintain CPR Training. About half of our bids take months to go to contract. A lot happens in the months from bid proposal to contract negotiation. One of the benefits of having the correct software in place, is when the customer asks for a meeting to discuss the project. I open up HCSS Heavy Bids, AGTEK, BlueBeam, and Google Earth. I immediately get a crash course in what the job entails. We can��t help but thank our past self for the excellent job! ?? We all know the first few questions�� 1. When can you start? ASAP�� on submittals and SWPPP. 2. How long are your durations? A quick HCSS.HeavyBid>Query>Activity>Send to Excel>Autosum. Done. 3. How can we save on overall costs? Thanks again to our past self for the activity and bid item notes! Also, enjoy deciphering the chicken scratch on the paperwork in the file. Is that a ��t�� or a ��y?�� With a good collection of software, these negotiation periods are smooth. We don��t have to guess, because we have the facts. We can back up the sale to the customer with hard evidence of how we plan on completing the job on time and why it will cost what it will cost. Investment in software that works for you and your company is money well spent.
