The 2024 Cymbiotika San Diego Open WTA 500 was a massive success! As Tournament Director, I couldn't be prouder of the amazing moments we all witnessed. From the skilled ball people to the dedicated WTA staff, it truly takes a village to put on an event of this magnitude. I want to extend a special thank you to the Barnes Tennis Center staff, the board from Youth Tennis San Diego, and all those who helped make this event a reality. Your passion, commitment, and execution were truly remarkable. I want to encourage everyone to get involved in the racquet industry. It makes a positive difference in the community and changes lives for the better. In the words of Katie Boulter during her award speech, "I hope the kids are all inspired by watching our tennis." That is what Youth Tennis San Diego is all about, and why we as an organization put these events on. Let's continue to inspire and uplift the next generation of tennis players and continue to break down barriers for all.
