?? Partner Feature ?? Krista Fisher is executive assistant to Brian Dowd for Next Step Coach and is the Director of Administration for the The Barnabas Group - Sacramento. She started working with the Next Step team and The Barnabas Group in 2018. While she's never on center stage, Krista is the magic that makes our Barnabas chapter GO! Krista lives in Folsom with her husband, Michael, and has three daughters: Kelsey, Megan, and Lindsey. Krista was born in Kansas and grew up in Denton, Texas. She attended Texas A&M University, earning her bachelor’s degree in marketing in 2000. Krista met her husband at Texas A&M, and they have been married since 2002. After graduation, Krista worked at Intel Corporation in Folsom as a business analyst for 5 years before leaving the workforce to stay at home with her first daughter. Working with Brian has been an excellent reintroduction to the business world and has provided a great opportunity for networking with the most generous and kind-hearted people. Krista recently became a certified health coach and enjoys sharing her knowledge of nutrition with sports teams and in classrooms. Krista also enjoys working with children as a substitute teacher in the Folsom Cordova Unified School District. She leads a women’s bible study and is a volunteer in Kidsfest at Lakeside Church. When not on a soccer field, the Fisher family enjoys camping and hiking.???

Josh Powers is guided by the question, “Is good enough, good enough?” With over a decade of experience in education, vocational ministry, consulting, and nonprofit leadership, he brings this perspective to Barnabas too. As an Executive Pastor at Bayside Church, I helped plant and oversee the growth of the Auburn Campus, focusing on strategic initiatives, team leadership, and enhancing church engagement. Previously, I led Simply Water, a nonprofit providing sustainable clean water solutions, securing significant funding and partnerships. Josh's diverse roles have always been about developing teams, driving growth, and creating impactful change.
