Delivering all natural beef for Arkansas families is more important to us now than ever. We are proud to provide high quality, locally born and raised, USDA certified beef. If you are wondering how it works, here's a breakdown. 1. A quarter beef will provide approximately 80-90 lbs of beef. 2. You can expect the cost to be around $695, but we won’t know for sure until the date of processing. See pricing method below. 3. Your beef is USDA Certified, vacuum sealed (by your volume of choice) and clearly labeled. 4. With a quick 5 minute phone call, we will walk you through the cut options prior to processing. 5. Cuts include steaks, brisket, roasts, ground beef and others, with ground beef making up approximately 25%-30% of your beef. The industry pricing standard is to use hanging weight. Our cost is $5.00/lb hanging weight, plus a 2.625% sales tax. This pricing method allows full transparency and ensures you get what you pay for. We provide free delivery to folks in Central and Northwest Arkansas. A nonrefundable deposit of $200 per quarter must be paid to secure your order. The remainder is due prior to or upon delivery. Cash, card and check are all acceptable forms of payment. Our cattle are hand fed daily with sweet potatoes and grain, plus plenty of pasture to graze. We guarantee not a single needle goes into your beef. They are born and raised with care by Charlie Barham on his farm in Ozark, AR, who has been farming for nearly 40 years.   • Quick Inventory Update Beef Snob Snack Sticks: Believe it or not, we are running low on boxes of our Original flavor. We never thought we'd see the day after this last batch! Jalapeno is still in good shape. Fortunately, our next round of sticks should be ready late next week! Included will be a small batch of our new Honey BBQ. We'll let you know when those will be available at our store. Bulk Beef: We've sold out of the bulk beef available for this month and have started taking orders for next month. If you're ready for a half or whole beef, now is a good time to get on the list! Place your deposit at www.beefsnob.com. We reserve 2-3 whole beef per month for bulk beef orders. The remainder of the 10 will go to retail beef and snack sticks. Retail Beef: We're very low on ground beef (sorry!). With the round of beef we are picking up next week, we designated two whole beef to be steaks and ground beef only. This will provide more than enough ground beef for all you Beef Snobs! As for steaks, roasts, and comfort cuts, we have plenty in stock. Stop by our farmers market style store at Haynes Ace in Conway this weekend to purchase. Beef Snob Samplers: Due to the low amount of ground beef, we will offer to supplement the ground beef with different cuts. The value of the 16 LB of ground beef can be replaced with the same value of the different cuts. The only cut we couldn't replace it with are ribeye since we are getting low on that cut as well.   • Our Chief Beef Snob, Ed Linck, and his daughter Catalina (photo credit) had the honor of being a vendor at the grand opening of the newly renovated gift shop at Conway Regional Health System in Conway, Arkansas.
