The Nashville Department of Transportation (NDOT) Tactical Urbanism Guide received the "Outstanding Project/Program/Tool for Large Jurisdiction" award from the Tennessee American Planning Association (TAPA). Announced at TAPA’sannual fall conference, this award highlights Barge’s collaboration with NDOT and Fairpointe Planning. . With an increasing demand for safer and more inclusive urban infrastructure, the project team worked with NDOT to create a guide to help communities take active roles in transforming their neighborhoods. The guide introduces streamlined processes that simplify project requests, accelerate project timelines, provide funding resources, and enhance pedestrian safety.
