An annual tradition we have at Bare is to kick off the start of March Madness with a fun afternoon of food and fellowship - we enjoyed delicious smoked meats by Ryan Kurtz & Ron Bare as well as an abundance of other amazing treats! This week's "Backstage with Bare" features Ryan Kurtz, Sr. Wealth Advisor. Ryan also leads our Advisor Development and serves on our leadership team. When asked what he most enjoys about his role he says, "Building relationships with individuals and families and hearing their life stories." Ryan has been married to his wife Heidi for 23 years. They have four daughters - Jewel, Leah, Allie and Emma - as well as 3 dogs. Ryan and his family attend Waypoint church in Strasburg and serve in both leadership and the worship ministry. Ryan is so excited to see how the Lord leads his daughters into all that He has for them as they grow older. In his spare time, Ryan enjoys smoking meat, running, riding bike, and playing pickleball. Little known fact about Ryan - the only broken bone he's ever had was in his right hand - and how you might ask did he get that broken bone? From crashing while trying to do a helicopter when he was skiing!

God often provides for us beyond what we can even imagine! These blessings come to us so that we will have all that we need, and then will freely give to those who may not have the same gifts that we have been given.

Welcome to "Backstage with Bare!" This will feature a "behind the scenes" glimpse into our team members! Our first Backstage features Lamar King! Lamar is a Sr. Wealth Advisor and our Director of Relationship Development. Lamar loves lots of things - including sharing the story of Bare, encouraging generosity, leading team devos, pumping up the team and thinking strategically about the future! Lamar has been married for 18 years to his amazing bride Grace - and they have 4 children - 2 sons, and 2 daughters. Lamar loves playing outside with his kids, watching the Eagles and Phillies, journaling and golfing. Fun facts- Lamar was raised on a potato farm! And - he and Grace annually travel to see the Philadelphia Eagles play at an AWAY stadium. Lord willing, by 70 or sooner they will have visited all the away stadiums! This year in his walk with the Lord Lamar is spending time thoroughly going through the books of the minor prophets (1 per month) to help him grow more trusting in the Lord, in humility and in being courageous with the Truth!
