New Year, New Resolutions: a common phrase we hear at the start of a new year—but resolutions are more than just tradition or a fleeting trend. They are a chance to reflect, reset, and refocus. ????♀? In our last post, we shared how resolutions give us something to look forward to and make the journey ahead more exciting! For 2025, let’s embrace the year with clear, fresh goals and celebrate every step forward. Here’s to working towards achieving our New Year's resolutions–we can do it! ?? Goals for bare pockets in 2025 ?? “We want to increase our revenue from $0 to… $0!” (Our services are pro bono). Instead of profits, we measure our success by the growth of our clients. This year, we aim to work with at least two new clients by June, fostering their development and success alongside ours. Here’s something personal we would like to share as co-founders of barepockets: lee siyun ‘s Personal Goals ?? 1. I will improve my Chinese from basic to conversational by dedicating 3 hours each week to studying, with the aim of achieving this by the end of May and travel to China! 2. I am going to consistently complete my weekly realistic priority to-do list. Each week I achieve this, I will reward myself with a treat, such as enjoying an acai bowl or spending time on activities I love. Samantha K.’s Personal Goals ?? 1. I aim to secure a passive income stream by starting my own e-commerce business and selling digital products online! 2. I commit to spending my time and money more wisely to build a more intentional and fulfilling life. I would do this by making sound financial decisions (avoiding impulse purchases) and consistently tracking my expenses. To enhance my day-to-day life, I commit to investing in key habits like committing to weekly reflections and quarterly goals to keep myself on track and direct my time towards what truly matters.
