    not enough AI products talk about what's happening under the hood The truth is, it's a mix of AI, people, and software engineering. Today i want to share some cool things we're doing with our browser agent ?? Quick refresher - our Browser Agent is an AI that can execute a goal on any website - mostly gathering information. ?? Why do GTM teams care about that? The traditional solution to researching was hiring lower-cost labor or scraping. The problem with scraping is that it relies on a recipe (a set of selectors) that only works on a given page. That doesn't work for tasks like prospecting. Every lead's website is different. Imagine you wanted to answer questions like these for thousands of companies... - does this company have a sales team? - is the company's job post contain mentions of my competitor? - is the company SOC 2 compliant? - how expensive is the company's premium tier?     In the last quarter, we 10x our traffic from gen-AI tool referrals. The best part? It converts 5x better than our typical visitor to sales calls and product trials ?? Sure, we published a ton of content (some of it researched and generated with marketing playbooks from Bardeen). But we've been doing that since the beginning of 2024. ?? So, what changed? Counter-intuitively, we scoped down our keywords and focused. You may have heard from Colby Morgan and Pascal Weinberger that we narrowed the use cases and personas our product served to GTM ?? . In our many articles, we started getting consistent with how we described Bardeen. Particularly in listicles. This helped people understand our tool. We also shrunk the list of keywords we cared about from "automate everything" to GTM-relevant keywords like "prospecting automation". This resulted in: ?? Improved AI content-generation workflows. Prompting works much better when you can get more specific with the few-shot examples and prompts. Yes, we generate a lot of content with AI - we're an AI company, remember? Shoutout to Alex Halliday and AirOps for also helping. ?? Improved writing quality from our human writers.     Here's how I scrape any public site whilst i'm dreaming. Even if there's one level of Inception. When I mean one level of inception, its just a dream within a dream. Or isit two levels?
