The signatories of the?Barcelona Declaration on?Open Research Information?commit to taking a lead in transforming the way research information is used and produced. By signing, the University commits to a direction of travel that prioritises:? making openness the default for the research information we use and produce?working with services and systems that support and enable open research information?supporting the sustainability of infrastructures for open research information?supporting collective action to accelerate the transition to openness of research information. Open research information helps make science policy decisions more transparent, ensures fair research evaluations, and supports the global push for open science. These are all core elements of Loughborough University’s?research and innovation culture?ambitions.?
